Art Sand Play Therapy

Creative therapy methods can provide a child or young person with a language to express emotional states and thoughts that they either do not have the language for or are unable to express in words at that time.  Using a range of materials that appeal to the child and suit their personality enables them to play/draw or express, literally and /or metaphorically, their inner and real-life experiences in a way the builds insight and capacity. Creative therapy enables children to express, regulate, communicate, practice and master new skills as well as their emotional responses.
